This is an International Society for those with a love of music and, particularly, music played "The John Mann Way".
It was formed in March 1981 and has gone from strength to strength with a growing membership
We issue a quarterly magazine giving details of John's forthcoming concerts,recordings and special events. John writes a newsy Personal Message. There are letters and articles by the members about their enjoyment of John's music and concerts, photographs and an important feature is an instalment of John's Life Story written by himself.
We have an Annual Tea Party with John during his Summer Season. This year 2010 our 24th we will be having two again. The first on August 4th at Worthing Pavilion Theatre in the Denton Lounge after John's Afternoon Show and the second on September 16th at Eastbourne in the Congress Restaurant after John's Afternoon Show at the Winter Garden.
Over the years many friendships have been formed and each concert is a social gathering of members. We have members in France, Holland and Germany.
Production of your current John Mann Appreciation Society Membership Card at the box office at most theatres where John is playing entitles you to a price reduction on your tickets.
A voucher issued with your magazine gives you discount on John's new recordings.
THE ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEE IS ONLY £4.00 PER HOUSEHOLD which we hope to maintain for some time to come.
